What is Dry Skin?
Dry skin, medically known as xerosis, is a common skin condition characterized by a lack of the appropriate amount of water in the most superficial layer of the skin, the epidermis.
It appears as skin that feels tight, rough, and often looks dull. Without adequate moisture, the skin loses its elasticity and can become prone to lines, wrinkles, and a rough texture.
